1. Information We Collect

›Account Information: When you sign up for VKPrep, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo via OAuth providers (Google and LinkedIn).
›Professional Information: Resume data, work experience, education, skills, and other career-related information you voluntarily provide.
›Usage Data: How you interact with VKPrep, including features used, session recordings from mock interviews (used solely for your performance analysis), and platform analytics.
›Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and log data for security and service improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

›To provide, operate, and improve VKPrep's AI-powered interview preparation services.
›To personalize your experience — tailoring prep decks, interview questions, and coaching to your resume and target roles.
›To analyze interview performance and generate detailed feedback reports.
›To communicate with you about your account, updates, and (with consent) product news.
›We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Ever.

3. OAuth & Third-Party Sign-In

›Google: We request your name, email, and profile picture via Google's OAuth 2.0 service. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, or other Google services.
›LinkedIn: We request your name, email, and profile picture via LinkedIn's OpenID Connect service. We do not access your connections, messages, or detailed profile data without explicit consent.

4. Data Retention

›We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services.
›Interview recordings and session data are retained for 12 months to enable replay and progress tracking, after which they are permanently deleted.
›You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@vkprep.ai.

5. Data Security

›All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
›We implement access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews.
›While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

›Access: You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
›Correction: You can update inaccurate data at any time from your profile settings.
›Deletion: You can request permanent deletion of your account and data.
›Portability: You can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
›Objection: You can opt out of non-essential processing at any time.
